Inspired by the Fête du Citron in Menton, France, the Grand Citrus Festival is a four day world class festival designed to be the signature event in the City of St. Petersburg in Pinellas County, FL. The garden setting of the festival will be Vinoy Park which borders Tampa Bay adjacent to the St. Petersburg Pier - the center point of tourism and attractions in the downtown area.
With upscale food & wine, entertainment, meet & greets, unique art and lots of giveaways, the Grand Citrus Festival is poised to become a long running event for all ages. It is ideally positioned to become to St. Petersburg what the Rose Parade is to Pasadena, CA – a nationally recognized destination event.
The structures that are built for the art sculptures for the Grand Citrus Festival will be donated each year to Universities, Organizations, Non-Profits or Cities to create an artificial ART-reef. The first year the plan is to for the structures will be donated to the USF College of Marine Science in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The Art 4 Earth Foundation, founded by Rebecca Jones, was created to engage communities and produce an annual festival centered around unique art installations to highlight, celebrate and fund art and educational programs as well as 501(c)(3) charities dedicated to healing and protecting the environment.
